Managed IT, cybersecurity and cloud
Running and protecting your estate under one service-level agreement.

In its plain meaning, a technology partner is the one firm that answers for the systems an organisation runs on, not only for selling or fixing them. Arke Technologies (Pty) Ltd is that partner for mid-sized and large organisations, public-sector bodies and schools across South Africa, working from Johannesburg.
Resellers, software vendors and project contractors often describe themselves as partners. For a CIO, a municipal manager or a school bursar, the meaning that matters is narrower: a technology partner accepts responsibility for outcomes across your systems, stays for the contract term, reports on what it did, and leaves you in control of your data if the relationship ends.
Our brand promise holds us to that standard: "One accountable technology partner: the right systems, sourced honestly, supported for the long run."

The difference is what each answers for, and what you keep at the end.
| Vendor or reseller | Project contractor | Technology partner | |
|---|---|---|---|
| Accountable for | The product it sold | The deliverable in the contract | How your systems perform over the term |
| Relationship | Per transaction | Per project | Ongoing, under a service-level agreement |
| Reporting | Invoices | A close-out report | A monthly service review and report |
| Advice | Follows its catalogue | Limited to the brief | Across hardware, software, cloud, security and connectivity |
| At the end | Warranty only | A handover pack, if agreed | Your data, credentials and documentation stay yours |
Arke is built to work in the third column, and to bring hardware supply and project work inside it when you need them.

Arke Technologies (Pty) Ltd is a South African technology company, headquartered in Greenstone Hill, Johannesburg, and a Kettle Group company. Registered on 30 August 2017 (2017/386810/07), it is the same company that began as Fibre Boyz, an internet service provider, now with a fresh brand and an expanded mission; Fibre Boyz continues as our connectivity division.

Arke is said "AR-kay". The name comes from the Greek arkhē: the origin, the first principle, the "archi-" in architect. It describes how we like to work: understand how the organisation runs, design the architecture to fit, and only then buy and build.
We supply servers, AI and IT hardware, support them under service-level agreements, and design, build, integrate and secure the systems our clients run on: seven disciplines, two trading divisions and two platforms of our own. The Arke Technologies home page and our services give the full picture.

Mission: to build purposeful technology that elevates the organisations and communities we serve, through engineering rigour, ethical design and real accountability.
Vision: to become the defining technology partner for professional services and enterprise operations across Africa, by virtue of quality.
We say what we will do, and do what we say.
Deliberate attention to quality in every system and document.
We design for human decision-making, not dependence.
Outcomes, not activity, define success.
Our growth is tied to the growth of those we serve.
We run AI in our own operations: Server Hub's quoting and sourcing tools are ours, and so is its customer assistant, which can be switched off, set to draft replies for staff to approve, or run automatically. We design under Emergent Intelligence, our framework for AI that supports human judgement rather than replacing it: AI recommends and people decide, outputs are explainable, every AI action is logged, use expands only as confidence builds, and clear limits govern what AI may do and see. We never train models on client data without explicit consent; see our AI use disclosure.

A technology partner is a firm that takes ongoing responsibility for an organisation's technology outcomes, not only for a sale or a project. Unlike a vendor, which answers for the product it sold, a partner works under one contract with service levels in writing, reports regularly on performance and risk, advises across hardware, software, cloud and security, and hands back data and documentation cleanly if the relationship ends.
Yes. It is the same company, registration number 2017/386810/07, that has traded since 2017 as Fibre Boyz, now with a fresh brand and an expanded mission. Fibre Boyz continues as our connectivity division, and Server Hub as our hardware trading division.
Yes. Public-sector bodies and schools are two of the three client groups Arke is set up to serve, alongside mid-sized and large organisations. We work to PFMA and MFMA disciplines, handle POPIA for learner and citizen data, and are a Level 1 B-BBEE contributor (sworn affidavit available on request). Our CSD supplier number and SARS tax compliance status are available on request.
We serve clients across South Africa from our head office in Greenstone Hill, Johannesburg. Most support is delivered remotely on our own tooling; on-site work is done by our own team under our contract and SLA.
Tell us what you run, what is not working and what you have to report on. We aim to respond to new enquiries within one business day.
