Enterprise IT support and management
An ITIL-aligned service desk with a named service lead, end-user computing, device and server management, patching and backup, reported monthly against the SLA, or co-managed with your team.

Enterprise IT solutions are the systems, services and governance a large organisation runs on: infrastructure, security, applications, data and support, managed as one estate. Arke Technologies (Pty) Ltd designs, supplies, builds and supports them for enterprises, government bodies and schools across South Africa, from Johannesburg, as one accountable partner.
In plain terms, enterprise IT solutions are the systems, services and controls that let a large organisation work at scale and stay accountable for it. Enterprise IT systems differ from small-business IT in three ways: there are more of them, and they depend on each other; more people have a stake in each change; and a failure has legal, financial and public consequences.
Corporate IT solutions, or enterprise ICT solutions in public-sector language, work best when the supplier can sit beside the in-house team or carry a defined part of the estate, adding capacity and specialist depth and producing the evidence governance asks for as a matter of routine.

Servers, storage, VMware, Hyper-V or Proxmox virtualisation, colocation in South African data centres, structured cabling, LAN/WAN, firewalls and enterprise Wi-Fi solutions for offices and campuses, with hardware through Server Hub.

Assessments, penetration testing, zero-trust identity with Entra ID conditional access and multi-factor authentication, Microsoft Sentinel SIEM and incident response, aligned with NIST CSF, ISO/IEC 27001, CIS Controls and MITRE ATT&CK.

Custom enterprise software where packaged products do not fit: web platforms, mobile apps, multi-tenant SaaS and the APIs between them. Digital enterprise solutions, in practice, turn a paper or spreadsheet process into a governed system.

Microsoft 365 licences, monthly or annual, deployed and managed across Entra ID, Exchange Online, SharePoint, Teams, Intune and Defender; Teams Phone and VoIP; Dynamics 365 Business Central implemented; Google Workspace on the same terms.

Assistants, document intelligence, Microsoft 365 Copilot readiness and private AI that keeps sensitive data in South Africa, with logging and human approval.
As a custom enterprise software development company, we built AtlasOS (visit the AtlasOS site (opens atlaspractice.app)), ISOcore for ISO management, ESGnet for ESG reporting and Server Hub's quoting platform. Our enterprise software design starts with the data model, the audit trail and who may approve what.

Enterprise IT architecture is the documented map of how an organisation's processes, applications, data, security and infrastructure fit together, and the rules for changing them. An enterprise IT architecture framework gives that map a shared structure, so a board, an auditor and an engineer read the same picture. A typical enterprise IT architecture diagram has six layers.
| Layer | What it holds | What we do there |
|---|---|---|
| Governance | Policies, risk appetite, King IV Principle 12, PFMA, MFMA and POPIA obligations | Governance reporting to boards and audit committees |
| Business processes | How work flows between people, departments, clients and citizens | Process mapping before anything is built |
| Applications | Each enterprise IT application: ERP, CRM, finance, HR and line-of-business systems | Software development, licensing and implementation |
| Data and integration | Databases, APIs, reports and the interfaces between systems | Integration, data migration and dashboards |
| Security | Identity, access, endpoint, email, network and monitoring controls | Enterprise IT security architecture, assessment and hardening |
| Infrastructure | Servers, storage, cloud, networks, Wi-Fi, devices and connectivity | Supply, build and managed operations |
An enterprise software architecture diagram goes one level down: the components of a single system, where its data lives, how it authenticates users and which services it calls. We produce both and keep them current through change control. Our architects bring more than a decade of experience across managed IT, enterprise software architecture, cybersecurity engineering and AI integration.
Governance of enterprise IT makes technology decisions accountable to the board. Our IT governance, risk and compliance service gives boards, accounting officers and audit committees the evidence they need:
01.
The estate documented and tested against a baseline, risks ranked.
02.
Scope, price per seat, response and resolution times, exclusions, on-site policy, term, and the split of responsibilities if your team stays in place.
03.
Monitoring and runbooks in place, then a written report and review every month.
You contract with Arke Technologies alone, and one accountable team works on our SLA clock; we hire certified technicians in step with the contracts we sign. Service management is ITIL-aligned, as our guide to ITIL and IT service management explains.

Ongoing support is priced per user per month after an assessment and billed monthly in advance; projects are quoted separately. Published South African rates run from about R180 to R400 per user per month, and project work from about R550 to R750 an hour ex VAT (matnet.co.za, September 2026). Users, sites, on-site cover, compliance scope, integrations and the age of the estate set the final figure: see managed IT pricing.

An enterprise IT solution is a system or service built for the scale, integration and governance needs of a large organisation, such as an ERP platform, an identity and security programme or a managed service desk. Accountability defines it as much as size: it must be documented, secured, auditable and supportable after the people who built it move on.
An enterprise solution company designs, builds, supplies or runs the systems large organisations depend on, and takes contractual responsibility for them. Arke Technologies works across infrastructure, security, software, integration, AI and managed support, so one contract can cover a whole programme rather than a single component of it.
An IT solutions company solves a business problem with technology, from choosing and supplying the hardware to building, integrating and supporting the systems on top. The word "solutions" should mean the company answers for the outcome, not only for the product it sold, which is why we report against the SLA every month.
Yes. In co-managed IT, your team keeps the areas it knows best and we carry defined parts of the estate, such as security, infrastructure, integration or overflow support. The split is written into the SLA, with responsibilities, escalation paths and reporting agreed up front, so ownership of every system is clear from the first day.
Yes. We are a Level 1 B-BBEE contributor (sworn affidavit available on request) and a registered company since 2017, and we complete standard bidding documents when a bid requires them. We work to PFMA and MFMA procurement and reporting disciplines and provide audit-ready documentation. Our public-sector procurement page lists the documents procurement officers usually request.
